F2-71 Pantera Racing recentley took a close 2nd place
at The Key West World Championships held November 14 - 21, 2004. The 35'
Pantera "cut down" handled the rough waters off of Key West
with ease and just came up a little short on prop pitch on the calmer
"inside" part of the coarse. The new " twin stepped "
bottom design on the Survivor model handled perfect while turning at high
speeds. We will be back next year to try and claim the World Championship
title in F2 class.
By The Summer of 2005 plans are for a new 36' Pantera
Survivor "center console" version to be also introduced, and
a S.U.B. model ( Sport Utility Boat ) consisting of 6 stand up bolsters,
two rows of three, a forward cabin, and a wide - open deck. Like all models
on the Survivor series, it will be offered with a conventional or twin
stepped - V bottom. The S.U.B. model is a cross between a center console
and a sport boat.
We have also made subtle changes to our 24' and 28' models. For example:
the 28' model now has incorporated molded fiberglass gelcoat finish deck
hatch, custom Naca Duct air ventilation, lowered cockpit floor with padding
to absorb energy in your legs and feet in rough water, optional molded
fiberglass gelcoat finish cabin door, and new custom deck hardware.
Each Pantera boat has a complete hand laid race lamination with bonding
of the hull and deck 360 degrees with fiberglass laminates. We offer a
LIFE TIME WARRANTY on our glass work
to our original Pantera owners whether the boat is used for racing, pleasure,
or establishing record runs as we have done in the past ( Miami to New
York in 1978. )
Pantera Boats would like to invite you to visit our facility so that we may
have the opportunity to show you the workmanship that goes into each hand
built custom made Pantera boat.
